Would my black leotard mess up in a pool?

I have a black leotard for colorguard and it basically feels and looks like a one piece bathing suit. The material feels exactly the same. I was wondering if it would mess up in a pool at a theme park. Especially since it’s black?

The material that a leotard is made of is not the same as a swim suit, but it is similar. The clorine in a pool would mess up the leotard. It would fade and become see through as well, as the weight of the water would make it stretch out.
