When one hears the words Halloween costume more often than not what runs through their head are the gothic and scary costumes like witches, zombies, mummies, and other monsters and creatures of the underworld. However, spooky and gory are not the only accepted concepts for a Halloween costume. You can always go for sexy!
Since Halloween has become one of those holidays that both children and adults alike look forward to, your costume should be very well thought out. Sexy costumes are becoming a more and more popular trend for the adult costume ideas, especially for women. Halloween costumes for adults normally tend toward the manly and chivalrous for men and sexy and naughty for women. Halloween is also the only time when women can dress sexy without being judged as promiscuous. This is also why some believe that the sexier, the better.
What are some sexy Halloween costumes women can choose from? Here are just a few suggestions:
- Fairy tales with a sexy twist – Yes, you can dress up as the fairy tale character you love as a child without appearing childish. Naturally sexy characters like Tinkerbell and Betty Boop are popular choices, but the sexy versions of Minnie Mouse, Alice in Wonderland, Goldilocks, and Snow White are far better. How to do that? To make a sexy Minnie Mouse costume, for example, find a red-and-white polka dot mini dress that sits around your mid thigh and wear a black mouse ear headband and you’re ready to go! The key here is to make the character’s dress as short as possible and add a sexy pair of knee-high socks or stockings.
- Career women gone wild! – Sexy school teacher, the heart-stopping gorgeous nurse, naughty cop, seductive lady pilot, mouth-watering sexy chef, alluring Army officer, or a cruise ship cutie have all gone the sexy route on Halloween. Like the sexy fairy tale characters, make the traditional career costumes shorter on the hem with a lower neckline to show more skin than usual to add that sexy feel.
- Animals are sexy too – Yes, you can turn that cute and cuddly animal costumes into something “rawr”-worthy. Some animals you can turn into the sexy breed are a lioness, a bumblebee, cat, and the ever popular naughty bunny. You don’t need to make an elaborate costume of a cat or bunny, all you need to do is find a mini dress in the color of the animal’s fur, add the ears, tail, or wings, and viola! You’re a sexy animal!
- Comic book superheroes – Catwoman’s figure-hugging tight suit are always considered very sexy, even Supergirl’s and Batgirl’s short skirt. And who could forget Wonderwoman’s super sexy outfit? Who says being a superhero can’t be sexy?
- All-time favorite sexy Halloween costumes – Here are some of the staple and famous sexy costumes for Halloween. They are the fallen angel, the She-Devil, French maid, a cheerleader, sexy schoolgirl, sexy Santa elf, Eve, a pirate wench, Las Vegas showgirl, Greek goddess, a Playboy bunny, and a sexy siren.

What can I wear with a Black and White polka dot skirt?
I have skirt, about knee length, with tiny white polka dots and a white ribbon around the hips. I really want to wear it for Christmas, but I do not know what to wear for a top. I would really like to find something that is “festive” or at least more wintery than just a fitted tee, but I don’t know if a sweater would be too much. What do you think?
Well plain and simple. Black or white shirt with black pumps or those cute flat shoes out now. If you’re trying for festive maybe even a red shirt. It’s really up to you. I would say stay away from bulky sweaters and stick with more of like the thinner sweaters.
