Can anyone tell me the basics of starting off a tool kit collection?

I like to work with wood and I have an interest in architecture and electrical engineering. I also have an interest in appliances.

you can get basic kits from hardware stores. basics of a hammer, screwdriver (you can get ones that have a removable bottom where u store different heads for it, those are awesome), nails, screws, pliers, pencil, pen, electrical tape, duct tape, and whatever else u find u use often. depends on exactly what you’re doing.
