I tore ligaments in my ankle last night. The dr. put me in a cast and told me I couldn’t bear weight?
for at least three weeks. I’m supposed to go out for track this September. Is there any chance I will be running within the next three months? I’m counting on it as part of my strategy for getting a college scholarship.
I wouldn’t count on being ready by September. If it was serious enough to cast it, you are looking at at least 12 weeks for recovery….and that’s just to begin starting to run again…surely, you will need some retraining before you are at a level ready to compete.
