Would it matter if I followed a 28 count cross stitch on 14 count aida?
I’ve recently bought a cross stitch kit and had no idea it came with 28hpi fabric. It is literally a nightmare for me. Would it make any difference to the appearance if I followed it on 14 count aida? I know it will end up bigger, but would the image still end up as good?
Typically, even weave fabrics are worked “over two”, so you’re actually making 14 cross stitches per linear inch, just as you are with 14 ct aida.
