What can preserve soft pastel paintings?
I love using soft pastels to draw but I can’t find a way to preserve it. It’s like chalk so it smudges easily. Do you have any suggestions for preserving it? My mom suggested hairspray but she didn’t know for sure and she didn’t want to mess my paintings up. So please help!!
Artist’s fixative. It works great for drawings in pastel and charcoal and pencil. If they have Michael’s stores where you live, they have it. If not try an art supply store.
