Soap Base

Can you tell me what soap base is?

I was looking at a video on youtube of how to melt your own soap and it said that you need to melt soap base. But I don’t know what that is? Is it just plain soap or something you need to buy wholesale or what?

You can buy soap base at many soap supply stores/websites. Or…you can make your own cold process soap, which IMHO, is the better choice because you then know there’s nothing toxic/bad in it. Soap is really quite simple to make. Buy one good book — mine is “The Complete Soapmaker” by Norma Coney. I sell a lot of soap & it all began with that one book!
