How do you get rid of silver fish?
I have never seen silver fish before in my life until I moved here to Texas from California. I want to get rid of these pesky suckers. I buy new clothes for the kids and these buggers eat holes in them pretty quick. How do you get rid of them. HELP! Please keep in mind that I have a 10 and 2 year old so if pesticides must be used then let me know proper teqniques. Thanks
well they don’t do damage to todays clothing, you probably are seeing carpet beetle damage, maybe cricket. If it was an older home that used to have a wood shingle roof there is not a whole lot to totally stop silverfish. Have the attic treated or maybe place a couple of pest strips in the attic. Would need to use a residual insecticide around the wall penetrations including light fixtures on the ceilings.
