What do the different mardi GRAS bead colors mean?
One of my friends gave us all mardi gras beads this morning and i was just wondering what the colors stand for. Like mine are gold and my sisters are silver. That and my sister is wondering if hers stand for anything “dirty”. Lil help plz?
Purple stands for Justice, Green stands for Faith, and Gold stands for Power. The colors were brought over in 1699 when the first Mardi Gras in Louisiana history was brought over by Bienville
