I am looking for some crafts for a girl scout troop to make to send to troops overseas. Anyone have ideas?
The girls are 9 and 10 years old. They have made cards already. We want to try and use some items such as chapstick, sunscreen, etc in the crafts so the troops will receive something useful with a little homemade touch. I’m having a really hard time finding ideas on what they can make. Any help is appreciated!!
You could cut out a shape of a person from foam, making the arms longer, and decorate it and write a message. Then you can wrap the arms around a bottle of sunblock, tape the hands together, or tape the foam to the bottle if necessary, and tuck in a small American flag in its arms.
