Plaster Mold

How can I fix a plaster mold?

When my daughter was born I made a plaster print of her hand and foot. We recently moved and today when my husband was unpacking some boxes he discovered that her plaster footprint was broken into about 5 pieces. I am crushed that this precious momento is broken! Any suggestions on how to restore it?

You can glue it back together. Your piece has so much sentimental value a few cracks would still be fine

You could try a basic white glue or an epoxy glue. I would glue 2 pieces together – let it set then add another piece – let it set

To hold the pieces together while setting I might try rubber-bands or stretch wrap
