Birthday party at home for a girl who is turning 6?

Instead of “go banana’s” she wanted to have her birthday party at our home. i will be the activity guide and i asked her what kind of things she would want to do.
i told her maybe a time for nail polish and play tag or an outside game in our backyard. We could play with hama beads ( perler beads) which the kids would make something and we could iron it for them.

LOL… I remember that one my daughter is 13 now I have planned amany of parties for her. That Age was pretty simple plus you have Halloween on your side so get a big bucket and BOB-for apples, thats fun for that age group, you have to have a Pinyata thats a given, that age group really likes to have grab bags the grab bags are how they “grade” your party too the better the grab bags the better the party, get some cute bags (best deals at the 1$ stores for most of this kind of stuff, so you don’t break the bank) try cartoon trivia games with prizes, since you have halloween on your side have them come in costume, that will up the atmosphere.

costume contest (holiday extra on your side)
The Doughnut race (get some string tie it off tightly, place doughnuts on the string and who ever eats theirs off 1st gets a prize)
fishing (a stick with a string tied to it and a clip of sort at the end for their grab bags (((make them work a bit for the grab bags))))and a sheet with fishs drawn on it)
another fun thing I like to do for any party is make a speacial pudding and hide an almond in it whoever gets the almond gets a speacial prize of my choosing (make sure they know they are looking for it though)
if all else fails and you still run in to dead time, put on the latest movie from disney and relax with them and some popcorn.
