I’m painting a design on a pair of patent leather boots for halloween. What kind of paint and sealer are best?
Leather paint is best….but as those only come in brown blue and black (To name a few basic colors)
Go with acrylic fabric paint. Clean and sand down the place you are going to paint. Preferably use a thin layer of gesso as a primer. It will make the painting last longer.
You can use weatherproofing shoe polish to seal it. Be VERY sure your paint is VERY dry before applying it.
