Mounted Stamp

I bought an old rv with a hitch. How do I tell what class hitch it is?

I’m told the class should be stamped somewhere but I can’t find one. It’s pretty rusty. It’s a frame mount so I assume its at least a class2. How can I tell?

If it is too rusty to read the stamped information than it is too rusty to trust towing anything! Replace it! Period.
End of Story.
When a trailer hitch breaks under tow it is considered driver error!
