Why is it that when two or more races are mixed the child has a mixed skin color?
When a child has parents of different races the child almost always has a mixed looking skin color it’s hardly ever one or the other. But when a kid gets let’s say a blonde and brown hair gene it’s never mixed it has to be either blonde or brown. It can look mixed, it could be light brown or dirty blonde but it’s never truly a mixture of the two. Why is this?
THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE GENES THAT CONTROL THE PRODUCTION OF MELANIN (THE BROWN PIGMENT RESPONSIBLE FOR SKIN COLOR). THE COMBINATION OF THE GENES CAN PRODUCE ANY GRADATION OF COLOR FROM THE WHITE OF AN ALBINO TO PITCH BLACK OF SOME AFRICANS
