Tattoo artists or people who have gotten one…price question?
I have been wanting to get a certain tattoo across my mid-to-slightly lower-back for quite some time. It is lyrical content however, and I heard artists charge by the letter? Do any charge by the sentence perhaps? Im going for the following lines from a song by Slipknot:
“All that I wanted were things I had before.
All that I needed I never needed more.
All of my questions, are answers to my sins.”
Its a very personal song for me, and Id like to have it done without blowing my paychecks out of the water, but I know It wont be cheap. A cheap tattoo isnt good, and a good one isnt cheap etc..
If I had it written in courier new font, not bold, and half an inch or so high in the anatomical area of choice, what range should I be expecting? Thanks alot for any help
