Is Rock of Love Charm School and regular Rock of Love Staged or Reality?
I was just curious because it is supposed to be Reality TV, but I wanted to know it’s all staged and they are all actors (actresses).
It is a hybrid of the two. The footage is shown in a certain order that may not have even been the order these things occurred on the real show. In other ways though they will tell these people things to do and say and also they give them very much of the alcohol that makes them do weird things. But sometimes they will do the filming of the whole season then show things from Day 40 on the first episode and stuff to tell a story. They will also maybe take things out of context.
Let us say that a person says, “I would like to have the sex with Bret Michaels.” Later the person says, “I do not like my ex-boyfriend.” The producers may show this as if they person really said, “I would like to have the sex with my ex-boyfriend.”
Also many of these people start acting careers this way. I know an actress who was in some movies who got the start on an MTV dating show! LAUGHTER OL!
