Do you need to become a demonstrator to buy the Stampin’ Up starter kit?

I recently got into scrapbooking and i love it. I what to buy the starter kit because it has everything you need to start. I DON’T want to become a demonstrator! it’s just for my own pleasure

Yes you do need to become a demonstrator.

Why don’t you just sign up, get the kit and hang around for a quarter. You have to make a quarterly minimum but if you don’t do it you don’t get penalized. You just have another quarter to make it up to them on top of that quarters minimum if you want to stick around. If that fails you retire and don’t be a demonstrator anymore. At least you will get a demonstrator discount in that first quarter on top of the starter kit.

This is how it was in Australia up until I retired a year or so ago. You will know for sure if you email a demonstrator that you know and tell her/him that you are interested in joining. Just don’t mention for how long.
