If you allow someone in your family to use your car just once in a while, it is likely that your policy will automatically cover them in the event of an accident (as long as the person has a valid driver’s license). Check with your insurer directly to verify your policy’s details.
However, if the person is going to be a regular driver of your car, you will definitely want to report their name to your insurance company so that they can add them as an official driver.
Adding A Driver To A Car Insurance Policy: Step by Step
Here are the steps required to add a driver to your policy:
1. Contact your current insurer via phone: You will want to contact your insurance company via phone as soon as you have decided to add the new driver to your policy.
2. Have the new driver’s information ready to give over the phone: Prepare the necessary information in advance of your call, such as name, birth date, driver’s license number, and driver’s license expiration date. You may also be asked to send a copy of their driver’s license or other documentation separately. However, they should be covered immediately upon placing the call.
3. Take this opportunity to shop your car insurance policy for a better deal: Any time you are adding a new person to your policy or if someone in your family is getting their own policy for their own car, it can be a smart time to shop for a better car insurance deal. Contact 4-5 competing insurance companies and give them your current coverage information. Ask them for a quotation. The whole process can take less than an hour and could save you hundreds in monthly insurance payments.

Why do you add eggs to flour?
I’ve noticed in recipes that when baking all purpose flour requires eggs. To my understanding self rising flour is just all purpose without the yeast. I can see why you need to add yeast, but when converting a recipe from all purpose flour to self rising, do I still need to add the egg? What will happen if I start adding an egg to my buttermilk biscuits?

it is not true that recipes that call for all purpose flour also call for eggs … for example, buttermilk biscuits can be made with just soda, and no eggs; if you add an egg to a buttermilk biscuit recipe, it certainly will not hurt it but you will need to adjust the flour measure to more since the egg is a wet ingredient.
to say it another way:
flour is flour; it may or may not be self-rising. If it is self-rising, you do not need to add baking powder to your recipe. The only alteration you might need to make is to add soda to a recipe if you are using self-rising flour in case there is fruit, buttermilk or another sour milk like sour cream or yoghurt, or chocolate in the recipe.
Self-rising flour never has yeast added to it unless you add it yourself, only baking powder. Regular flour has nothing added by way of a rising agent; you may add or not add raising agents as you desire. As an example, Mexican flour tortillas use no raising/leavening agent at all….same with Indian roti: chapathys … they are made of just flour, a little oil, salt, water … they are done on a griddle and no one expects them to rise or puff up. Same with matzos…arabic bread ….
