What size thread and beading needle is best for my project?
My grand plan is to make a leather wrap bracelet (if unsure of the style they can be googled) using 4mm jasper beads. Later i also plan to make one with pearls. However, I have 2 issues:
1. What type of thread/cord should I use? The holes in the beads are very small, and i hear the holes in pearls are even smaller. To top thar off, the thread must go through each bead twice.So I know my thread/cord will be thin, but I don’t want to sacrifice any durability. I want these pieces to last a long time-and preferrably be water proof. Any reccomendations?
2. So now that I know it is already (probably) going to be a tight squeeze for the thread, I need to somehow fit a needle in there- or do i?I’ve heard of people crazy gluing the end of the thread to make it hard and able to be used like a needle.Would that be ok?

I would generally use a Size D thread and a size 13 needle.
The pearls you may have to experiment with as holes in pearls are often smaller, so if the the size D doesn’t work you’ll have to try a C.
