Who makes this American Hand Blown Glass Please help it’s a mystery?
The label says the following. It’s a large vase that probably isn’t that old. I’d say no earlier than the late 70s. It’s a white glass with soft green marbling going through it. The label is round and about the size of a quarter and is gold and black. Here’s what it says. Can anyone give me an idea? I saw one was on a price guide, but you had to pay for it. That was the only reference I could find.
American Hand Blown Glass – Hand blown glassware may show blisters, seeds or thin lines which further enhances it’s handcrafted uniqueness.
American hand-blown glass could be anything — any color or shape or object. The term simply means that the vase was hand-blown in the U.S. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the object is valuable, if that’s what you are asking, though a very old or particularly fine of hand-blown glass from anywhere could command a high price. Museums display such pieces, either antiques or by very well-known modern glass artists.
