i found a Glass type fuse made of paper or cardboard instead of glass?
i found this fuse that i found in a wireless speaker unit for my stereo…. and it looks like a glass fuse but what looks like paper instead of glass? it was found inside of the unit, not in a place that it can be easiely changed… what would this be for?
This could be a fuse or even a thermal fuse designed to keep your speakers from being ruined if they are over powered. I had some speakers once where there were breakers installed in case of too much power, the breakers were more convenient than fuses since I tend to amp em up!
