question snowblower problem?
I have an 536.884810 snowblower i dont have the electric start i can get the thing started sat around for 2 years i know i have spart as wehen i take fuse out i see spark when i pull on the rope i replaced the carborator as i though this was the problem new spark plug to i pull the rope it looks like it wants to start but wont i put gas in the spark hole and tried to start it it has fresh gas as well i cant figure this out the key is in as well choike is on fully there doesnt appear to be any air filters anyone know what the issue could be
i changed the motor oil and tried starting fluid no luck could there be any other issues i cant seem to figure it out seems like it wants to start when i pull the rope many times howver i pulled the rope like 2 hours and it gave me noting when i pull it and keep pulling it it seems to start but dies out as soon as i stop pulling
its not an key issue my key is put in correctly doesnt turn
I just had this same problem on my Honda. It hasn’t sat idle for 2 years, but this is the first time I’ve used it this year, and it would not start. I got it going by removing the spark plug and sprayed starting fluid in the plug hole. You may have already tried this – I couldn’t tell if you sprayed the fluid on the carb or in the chamber. Anyway it started up perfectly. Don’t know exactly what you mean by it wants to start. Try starting it with the blower mechanism on and off. Having the load on the engine may be keeping it from starting. Good luck.
