How many calories are there in a square foot of standard grass?
As in, how many calories would a cow be able to extract from eating a square foot of grass?
Living amongst farmers for many years, I have never met one who is interested in the calorific value of grass. Cows do not have a calorie controlled diet. Farmers do not weigh their cows or their food. They are given supplements at different times of the year.
Why oh why do you ask this question?.
