Would a braided belt look nice with this dress?

It has embroidery of flowers around the neckline. I have been looking at belts and I am wondering about the style. Braided? Plain black leather belt? Something with a butterfly? My husband suggested putting a ribbon around my waist. What do you think about these ideas? Thanks a lot. 
Oh and I wanted to ask what you think of jewelry type belts? Would that look good?
i think a braided brown belt would look super cute with it
