Is there a sewing/ embroidery machine compatible with mac computers?
I’m looking for a sewing and embroidery machine that is compatible with an apple computer.
I am relatively new to machine ebroidery and I also have a Mac laptop. When I was questioning the computer people about this same question they all had the same answer ” there are No sewing/embroidery machines that are compatable with a MAC. The problem is not the machine it is the software that runs the embroidery programs.All of the embroidery programs a PC based and that is the problem. In order to run them on a Mac you need to install a program called Virtual PC onto your Mac, then the PC-based programs should run. Some say that with the intel processors in the latest versions of Mac you shouldn’t have a problem with reading the Pc programs. Have you talked with anyone from Apple/Mac about this question.?
