How to dress up a compass tattoo?

I want to get a compass tattoo on my left forearm, but I’d like to somehow incorporate different aspects to give the image more dimension and maybe even color (as opposed to having it stuck to my arm like a big stamp). Any ideas?

try to play with the colors,like every lettre with different color,but take care that bright colors are not removable like others
