The Dark Moon Faire is a gold mine if you know what to do. You literallyIn can make gold from selling items you will make to level your skills anyway, so let start to see how is it you are going to exploit the benefit of the Faire as to offer your Leatherworkers items and abilities.
With your Leatherworking profession you can make these items in different levels of expertise, all of these items can make you gold by selling them in the auction house:
- Embossed Leather Boots
- Toughened Leather Armor
- Barbaric Harness
- Turtle Scale Leggings
- Rugged Armor Kit
If you don’t know way someone will want these items, as you already see that the items are mostly useless, here is a brief summary: The Dark Moon Faire have a Prize Ticket system, for some reason many people like it. That mean they will buy your items so they will then give them to get the tickets.
So were you are going to find the items:
Embossed Leather Boots – You can learn to make Embossed Leather Boots at any Leatherworking trainer if your Leatherworking profession is 55 and up. You will need 8 Light Leather and 5 Coarse Thread to make it.
Toughened Leather Armor – You can learn to make Toughened Leather Armor at any Leatherworking trainer if your Leatherworking profession is 120 and up. You will need 10 Medium Leather, 2 Cured Light Hides and 2 Fine Threads to make it.
Barbaric Harness – You can learn to make Barbaric Harness at any Leatherworking trainer if your Leatherworking profession is 190 and up. You will need 14 Heavy Leather, 2 Fine Threads and 1 Iron Buckle to make it.
Turtle Scale Leggings – You can learn to make Turtle Scale Leggings at any Leatherworking trainer if your Leatherworking profession is 235 and up. You will need 14 Thick Leather, 24 Turtle Scales and 1 Heavy Silken Tread to make it.
Rugged Armor Kit – You can learn to make Rugged Armor Kit at any Leatherworking trainer if your Leatherworking profession is 250 and up. You will only need 5 Rugged Leather to make it.
As you can see you don’t have to get out there and grind your way to gold, wasting your time. You can make some gold just by level up your Leatherworking profession, and you can continue doing that even after you maxout your Leatherworking, as demand for the items above come with the Dark Moon Faire every month, you can find it outside your city (in Elwynn forest or Mulgore)
