Can you cover up dark ink with a lighter color ink?

I have a black tattoo that I don’t want anymore and I want to get something to cover it but will a lighter color ink be able to cover it completely?
OK, Teri…..You don’t even know what it is a tattoo of so don’t start quoting the bible on me. Second, I still like the tattoo but would perfer something different so I dont have to “live” with anything

Hey topher……I had a major coverup done last month (pictures and details in 360.) Most people (and most artists) will tell you it is impossible to go over dark with lighter…..this is not always so. There are techniques/tricks an accomplished cover up artist can use to do this. Check out the following link….it has over 400 fantastic cover ups.
