2. Compare Costs: Compare quotes from at least 5 different printing companies. Try to find companies that are running specials on the products you need. Even if you have a company that you’ve worked with for a long time, you should always get new bids when you need a new product printed. Companies vary widely on costs for different products. Some companies may offer deep discounts on certain products that could save you a significant amount of money.
3. Find Out What Sizes Work Best For The Printer: Your printer may offer lower prices on certain sizes that might not make a difference to you. This is another way that you could save money on the cost of the job.
4. Save Money By Using Fewer Colors: Find out what the price differences are for going black & white, full color, 2 colors or 3. If the savings is significant, it may be worth cutting back on the colors.
5. Ask About Delivery: Find out about turnaround times and delivery times. If the wait is too long, it may mean rush costs for you, or the cost of delayed sales on your end. Find out that information ahead of time so that you can figure it into your overall quote.
