if i remove my carbon cartridge will my filter still work?
Can my filter run without the carbon cartridge? if i remove the carbon cartridge will my filter still work? will there just be a gap there that doesnt effect the rest of the filter?
two of my three fish have whitespot and on the medication it says ‘remove the carbon cartridge.’
btw i have a coldwater tank without a heater.
Yes the filter will still work as long as it has other cartridges in it. If you dont replace the carbon cartridge every month or so, you may as well just leave it out. You can replace it with another sponge or biomedia cartridge, and get better biological filtration.
