What’s the best place for a 9yo kid to learn about drawing/art?
My son is 9 and a very keen ‘artist’, as he puts it himself. He spends his days drawing and would like to learn more. I’m looking for after school or weekend lessons in drawing/art around Richmond or Twickenham – can anyone recommend something? I’m not sure where to start.
Its good to see someone encouraging their child. 9 is a good age to introduce him to the tools of the trade, maybe a “studio” area, a nice drawing desk with lots of quality supplies, coloured pencils, pens, markers, paint, whatever his favorite instruments are and how to care for them (proper cleaning of paint brushes, keeping the drawers organized, etc.)
